Blue Jackets vs Blues predictions
Keep an eye on Adam Fantilli when the Columbus Blue Jackets hit the ice against the St. Louis Blues. This center has been on fire early in the season, already netting four goals. Given his hot streak, it wouldn't be surprising to see him come through with critical plays in the upcoming game. Additionally, Kent Johnson’s knack for setting up plays with his leading three assists shows he could be the key playmaker for Columbus, especially in tight situations.
On the flip side, the St. Louis Blues have their own emerging talent in Dylan Holloway. With two goals to his name, Holloway could be the spark the Blues need to maintain their unbeaten record at home. Also, Nick Leddy, with two assists already, might just find the perfect opportunities to feed Holloway the puck or even pop in a decisive goal himself from the blue line. The synergy between them could be something to watch as the game unfolds.
Given the momentum and individual player potentials, this matchup seems to be aligned for a tight contest, but the Blues’ advantage at home could tip the scales in their favor. The Blue Jackets have shown good form on their travels, but the Blues’ ability to capitalize in their own barn could be the deciding factor. Expect a close encounter, but I’d lean towards the Blues extending their home winning streak based on their solid defensive setup and the emerging chemistry among their forwards.
